“I am going to be honest with you for a moment. I was never one of those women who had my wedding planned to perfection before I met the man of my dreams. Quite honestly, I didn’t give it much thought even after I met Mr. Right. Between work and our social lives, I was busy enough as it was! So, when my LP (life partner – an ongoing joke seeing as it took him ten years!) finally popped the question, I was a bit overwhelmed with all of my options.
Enter Grace; the woman of my dreams, the wedding dream maker, the sketch artist who took my fuzzy ideas and turned them into the best night of my life. Basically, she’s a magician, therapist, party-planning extraordinaire all rolled into one perfectly perfect human being. Seriously, you couldn’t ask for more.
Let’s talk about the day of. Our family is not small… Not even by a long shot. My mother’s side of the family has ten siblings, over 30 nieces/nephews, and significant others. LP’s father’s side of the family has eleven siblings… We travel in a small herd. More than enough to cover a football program if we were of the athletic variety. Grace, you ask? Not. Even. Phased. This girl can work magic with a family… Creepy Uncle (don’t lie to yourself, everyone has one) no problem. Emotionally unstable dad? No problem. Semi overbearing mother-in-law (thank god not in my case personally)? No problem. 300 plus guest list for a formal standing room only ceremony and wedding on New Year’s Eve? NO PROBLEM. You hear horror stories sometimes about things going wrong at weddings, I think every wedding has something that doesn’t go according to plan. To this day, I couldn’t tell you if anything happened at mine. My mind was 100% on LP and our families and spending our night together soaking in every last detail. This was all thanks to Grace.
If you’re considering going it alone, and don’t think you need a wedding planner; reconsider. If you’re looking for someone who is going to knock it out of the park and make your night the best one of your life; she’s right here. She’s the one. Look no further, seriously, I know from experience. She’s your person. She can be your LP when it comes to wedding planning. She’s the best. No two ways around it.”
